Marine Aluminum Ramps
CFS works with several fabricators to offer a high quality, all welded marine aluminum ramp in lengths up to 60 feet. There are two basic styles: The arch ramp and the truss ramp.
SPECIAL LINE: Arch style
- Our most popular model, under production for 12 years, for residential and light commercial applications;
- 3' width, lengths to 50', 50 lbs/sq. ft. live load rating;
- Non-skid aluminum deck with integral skid strips standard. Other deck options available;
- Mid-rails can be prepped for water or electrical power as an option;
- Low-profile Teflon rollers are supplied for the float end;
- Brackets for 3/4-inch pins are supplied as standard equipment for the pier end of the ramp. Pier mounts can be found on the specialty page.
COMMERCIAL LINE: Arch style
- 4' width is standard, lengths to 60';
- 75 lbs. / sp. ft. minimum live load rating. Higher ratings up to 125 lbs. /sq. ft. are available;
- Low-profile double-width Teflon rollers are standard;
- Standard decking is perforated diamond plate with integral skid strips; various other decking materials are available to meet any requirement;
- Side slides and other special features available upon request.
FULL COMPLIANCE LINE: Arch style
- These ramps are specifically designed to meet handicapped accessiblity requirements in Canada and USA, as well as OSHA standards;
- They have 42-inch security rails, additional inside handrails at 34: (1-7/8" diameter with 1-1/2" clearance), a structural mid-rail at 19", 4" pressure treated southern yellow pine toe-kicks, and aluminum decking with integral skid strips;
- Overall width is 4' 4", net inside clear width is 36" to 38" (depending on ramp length);
- Continuous hinge at pier-end is standard;
- Full-width transition plate is provided for the float end to eliminate the bottom step;
- Low profile triple-width rollers are built in at the float end;
- Designed live load is 75 lbs. / sq. ft.;
- Now available in lengths up to 60'
TRUSS STYLE RAMPS
All welded marine aluminum construction. These ramps are lightweight and provide a durable answer to float system access needs. These ramps use a tubular aluminum handrail truss system combined with a proprietary extruded aluminum frame to make for a strong and dependable ramp.
- Available in 3', 3'5" and 4' widths and lengths to 50'. Four-foot 5" and 5' widths available as special orders;
- Load rated at 100 lbs. / sq. ft. on ramps to 40' up to 4' wide and 60 lbs. /sq. ft. on ramps over 40' by 4' wide;
- Each ramp has 2 - 3 inch by 5-7/8: UHMW rollers at float end;
- Decking is 6: wide extruded aluminum non-skid planks;
- Pier mounts are included.
